About TiE Atlanta
Founded in 1998, TiE Atlanta is one of the Top 5 TiE chapters in the world. TiE Atlanta fosters entrepreneurs in all industries, from ideation to exit, by providing access to funding, educational programming, and mentoring by local and global leaders.
TiE Atlanta sits on the foundation of TiE Global, the largest entrepreneurial organization in the world. There are currently 11,000 members, including more than 2,500 charter members in 60 chapters across 17 countries.
Goals & Objectives
TiE Atlanta is a nonprofit organization devoted to entrepreneurs in all industries at all stages and all industries. With a global reach and a local focus, the heart of TiE Atlanta’s efforts lies in its foundational programs, or “pillars,” each of which offers entrepreneurs at every phase of development exactly what is most needed at that stage.
Entrepreneurs may begin their TiE experience at any stage and will be “met where they are.” Throughout this virtuous cycle of the entrepreneur, those at the earliest stages benefit from mentoring and guidance offered by those in the later stages, ideally growing to a point where they are able to give back in turn.
What we do
TiE Atlanta’s success is supported by its mentors, Charter Members, sponsors, members, volunteers, and board who foster entrepreneurship by:
– providing strategic, impactful and ongoing mentoring;
– developing thoughtful and relevant programming;
– providing access to industry leaders and community partners;
– and investing in upcoming startups to support entrepreneurs from ideation to exit.
TiE Atlanta provides various programming to different stages of entrepreneurs starting from high school to exit. Programs include:
– TiE Young Entrepreneurs – High School and University
– TiE Atlanta Angels
– Mentor Match
– TiECON Atlanta
Each of our TiE Atlanta initiatives is led by successful charter members and mentors. We have a purposeful, ambitious plan to help entrepreneurs achieve their next level of success, and an outstanding team that includes members from previous years and talented new members.

History
TiE was founded in 1992 in Silicon Valley by a group of successful entrepreneurs, corporate executives and senior professionals. There are currently more than 11,000 members and over 2,500 charter members in 61 chapters in 17 countries. TiE Atlanta is proud to be one of the Top 5 chapters in the world!
Throughout the last 25 years of existence TiE Chapters around the world have become vibrant platforms for entrepreneurs, professionals, industry leaders and investors to interact with one another and forge long lasting relationships.
